Post update, PCP2 has become unplayable
After the Poker Co-Pilot update, the system has become almost unplayable (I'm running the newest OSX update and my computer is one year old. I play six tables at a time on Full Tilt Poker). There are two issues:
-After deleting HHs I did not want present on PCP and rerouting the HH index via preference, the system is stuck at some arbitrary number of hands from God knows where. I cannot seem to fix this bug or display stats from the HHs I would like to index.
-The HUD flickers often while I'm playing, which is distracting and impedes on my online poker experience. Also, the HUD will freeze for a couple seconds, display wrong stats, or get stuck when I click on the basic stats to view advanced stats.
While these issues are seemingly few, they have had a huge impact on the usability of this program, and I would say PCP is almost unusable on my computer, and is definitely heading towards the <=0EV department.
I am thankful for the excellent support Steve/PCP provides, and PCP was generally an excellent product. I hope these issues will be remedied soon.

Inappropriate?same here. I tried eliminating HH in the preferences, but it somehow ignored that. I'm running OS X 10.4 G5 dual 2 Ghz. Then it bugged out and froze. I was on 6 tables.
After I force quit the program, when I tried to load again it went through a long optimize stage. Then there was no display.
Is there any additional info that we can provide to help? -
Inappropriate?Sorry about these problems. Some possible solutions:
1) A change in the hand history format used by PokerStars made problems for Poker Copilot. This is now fixed in Poker Copilot 2.02 and Poker Copilot 1.83.
You can download these here:
http://pokercopilot.com/download.html
2) If you want to clear hands from your database, there is no easy way to do that currently, except by manually finding it in Finder and deleting it. A means to do this will be added in the next couple of weeks.
If you want to manually delete your database, instructions are here:

Finally, I'm running tests to determine why multi-tablers are having problems with the HUD. I have no solution yet but fixing this is a priority.
Regards,
Steve

Inappropriate?Nearly 1/3 of the way through my trial period with Poker Copilot 2, I am pretty disappointed because it has not performed a useful, successful function yet. I am having the same frustrating problems as the original poster, and though I have seen these problems mentioned in several threads, only a few have been addressed or claimed to have been fixed.
I have updated PCP1 to 1.83, and it now can handle the new PS update and reads almost 50k of hands fine. PCP 2.02, just as with 2.01, will only fully open once in 3-4 tries (the times it fails there is a java error of some kind). Once open, I get a console error notice as well as a notice that "some" (READ: nearly all) of my hand history cannot be read. About 6k hands are imported. Also, none of the other screens/charts on PCP2.02 will work other than the basic stats. After a couple of minutes after I click on "Stake Level" (hoping to determine which hands PCP2.02 is able to read), it shows stats from only 9 hands of $2/$4 6-max limit hold-em. The new column options for positional stats look really cool, but these are not helpful when PCP is only reading a small portion of my hand history.
Additionally, the mucked hands screen appears but does not update based on current hands. It lists the last several mucked hands from some unknown time ago. It does not recognize current tables (I'm sure as a result that PCP itself does not).
The HUD does not work at all, which isn't surprising since PCP 2.02 doesn't recognize my action at any current tables.
For some reason PCP 2.00 at least recognized about 2/3 of my hand history, had a HUD that worked at current tables (though rather slowly), displayed appropriate mucked hands, and recognized and imported hand history files from current tables. Granted, my success with PCP2.0 was before the most recent PS update, but nevertheless it is strange that it doesn't work. For what it's worth I really enjoyed the new HUD options. They still leave a lot of statistics out that are available to users of Hold em Manager and Pokertracker, but it is a slight improvement from PCP1.
Steve, if it matters for your trouble shooting, I have been playing exclusively at Limit Hold'em cash games and tournaments (primarily 6-max but some full ring) at poker stars.
Thanks for your hard work.
I’m considering the merits of bootcamp + pokertracker

Inappropriate?@TaxiCabMetal:
I can only offer two consolations:
* Poker Copilot 1.83 is working well and is available from our download page as an interim solution
* When your trial expires, feel free to ask for an extended trial.
In the meantime, I am working hard on identifying and fixing these problems.
Regards,
Steve
