Poker Copilot v2 build 10 Hero Stats for Current Table
Checked the HUD "current table" stats today, and at least on cash tables they're wrong. It appeared to give me cumulative totals for all the times I had played at this particular cash table. It should only give me the stats for this session at this table. Seems like isolating this stat is more complex than it seems at first glance. If I sit down and play for an hour now, and then come back this afternoon and play for another hour at the same table, both sessions will be included in the same file in my hand history, as FT just keeps appending to the same file until the next day starts. I don't know whether starting a new file for the next day is triggered by the date change on the players' computer clock, or by FT's server clock. In either case, if the session continues past midnight, it's still the "current table" even though the data would be in two files.

Inappropriate?I've been having the same issue at cash game tables. All at Poker Stars, and it's crossing single day boundaries as well.
Even when I haven't played for a few days I will get on a table, and the HUD stats will not match my actual stats for that time seated only.
I didn't think of the table name issue but it makes sense. Stars uses the same table names over, and over again within a level (possibly even rotating them between levels and back again).
I've been playing pretty much the same level cash games since December. More often than not, I would guess I'm sitting at a "table name" I've sat at, at least once already. That could be the problem.
This was an issue for me in the previous build as well. -
Inappropriate?I've been contemplating this for the last week. What I'm thinking of doing: if "hero stats for current table" is selected, then only data for the current Poker Copilot session is counted.

Steve

Inappropriate?Sounds reasonable to me. It would probably be good to change the preference tag to "hero stats for the current session" as well ;-)
I’m confident
-
Inappropriate? It's certainly reasonable. If the table name issue can't be overcome, there's not much you can do about that. It's a huge difference though (from having actual table by table stats for that time seated only). Any time you're multi-tabling (or single tabling and then switch tables during a session), any added value of having it be "session stats" vs. "lifetime stats" drops like a rock.
If you're 4 tabling, after about an hour your session stats are going to start looking a lot like you're lifetime stats for that table type/game anyway. Likewise, if I single table a session, as soon as I switch tables, the value of having session versus lifetime stats becomes pretty marginal. -
Inappropriate?Matt, it's working better than that. Table stats are for each individual table during the "session", ie. since you last launched V2. I played for an hour this morning, quit PCoP V2, then launched it just before the playing again this afternoon. I'm seeing stats specific to each of the four tables I'm on right now, and they only cover this afternoon's action.
However you are correct about shifting tables during a session, whenever you come back to a table you played earlier during the same session you're going to see cumulative stats for all the hands at that table since the last time you launched PCoP V2.
All things considered, it's a big improvement over V1
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Oh ok. Looks like I totally missintepreted Steves response. I thought he was saying it would now be the overall session stats (drawn from all hands, all tables played that session). Sounds like it will actually still be stats isolated table, by table. But will be the stats for each table for the whole session (vs. just that time seated). If I jump on brand new (for that session) "table name" stats will start all zeros that table? That would certainly be better than marginal improvement :). Agreed, big improvement.
I'll give the latest build a good go tonight. Haven't played since Saturday, so I'll try and pick a couple table names I know I've played at previously. The problem I was finidng was it was not just isolated to a single day or session. Also seemed to be pulling stats from previous days played at a particular table name as well.
Was goofing around in the player stats, and the replayer yesterday, and it did seem the most stable it's been. Nice work Steve. -
Inappropriate?Did get a chance to play (Stars, cash game) with the new HUD, and I'm still having the same problem. Sat down at the first table of the night (and first table in several days), played a hand, and the first stats that popped up for HERO included almost 70 hands. Proceded to play about ten hands with the PCP2 HUD. HERO stats advanced correctly from the (incorrect) start point.
Let me know if there's anything I can send you Steve. I'm guessing it's not going to show up in in the error log though right?
I'll probly play Wednesday, and give it another shot. -
Inappropriate?Hey Matt,
Which build number are you using? Did you the HUD preference "hero stats for current table/session" enabled or disabled?

Steve

Inappropriate? It was the version prior to Saturday's release. I downloaded the current version yesterday, and I'll give this current version a test soon.
-
Inappropriate?Yeah it's the weirdest thing Steve. Especially since it seems somewhat isolated to me. Not seeing many people noting the same thing.
The HUD was deffinitely set for current table/session Hero stats. When the incorrect stats popped up again I played like 10 hands to see if it would reset itself or something. When it didn't, I tried swiching the HUD to show all Hero stats.. Switching to "all" correctly changed the HUD to show max Hero stats.
Then I tried switching it back to current table only, Hero stats went back to the incorrect current table/session stats. HUD showed something like 80 hands in the Hero HUD stats after having played 15 hands total of hands that day. In that case it was the first 15 hands I had played in a couple of days.
I've had it happening with all versions of the early build so far (though I haven't used the version that came out Saturday yet). I'll be extra careful to note my settings and all that this time so I can get you as many clues as possible. -
Inappropriate?Oh God, I want version 2, and I want it now. Gimme gimme gimme.
-
Inappropriate?Worked great this time around. Not sure what the problem was in previous versions but seems to be fixed. Played a table "name" I'd been on recently and all stats came up zeros across the board.
-
Inappropriate?Excellent. I guess I can mark this as solved!
Regards,
Steve
