Mucked card display
Steve:
Many thanks for the mucked card display - it works great! (at least on the play tables at PS I tested it on)
Any thoughts on including the board cards when the mucked cards are shown?
I think this is needed - I often don't remember the board cards and having them displayed with the mucked cards makes it much easier to compare hands.
Another idea is to give a time of display option for the mucked cards. Make it so we can set it for the length of time we prefer - ie number of seconds they are displayed.
Someone mentioned using standard colors for the mucked cards, but I prefer the four color ones as they are.
Many kudos for your hard work on PC - it just keeps getting better!

Inappropriate?Hi Spazzer,
Glad you like the mucked card display.
I intend to add the board cards soon - this week hopefully, all things going well.
Regarding the number of seconds - woul you rather the mucked cards show for a longer time or a shorter time? I try to avoid options as much as possible, and instead find the optimum solution that suits 95% or more of all users.
Regards,
Steve

Inappropriate?Hi Steve:
I can't really say now how long I would like the cards to display as I turned the display of mucked cards off after testing it. I find without the board cards also displaying its not of much use. Once the board cards are displayed and I use it more I'll have a better idea.
You say you try to find the solution that would satisfy 95% of users - it seems like giving the option to change the display time would satisfy 100% of users. I realize having too many options can complicate the software and sometimes make it harder to use - even so this would be a nice option.
Another nice option would be to click on the board cards to close the mucked card display. That way you could set a longer time period,(in case there was multiple players to showdown) but still be able to make them go away when you want.
One other thing I noticed was the mucked cards are displayed every hand. It really is only needed if the hand goes to showdown.
Keep up the good work and thanks for listening to your users!!

I’m liking it more and more!

Inappropriate?Love the feature, and looking forward to the board being displayed as well. One catch though. I'm getting the wrong cards showing up for villains hand at times. Most of the time it's correct. But when it's wrong, it seems villain is being given the same cards (incorrectly) as hero. Happened maybe 3 times out of 50 hands or so. I'll keep it on and try and get a more exact read on it than that.
