Filter Villains HUD Stats by Table Size and Stake Level
Lately I'm playing between a couple of stake levels, and table sizes and I'm REALLY wanting to set the HUD to filter the villains HUD stats. What would be nice, is if the HUD would only show the villains stats for the particular stake level/table size that I'm playing on.
If I have hundreds of fullring hands with a player, when I suddenly see that player on a 6-max table, I realy want thier HUD stats to be based only on their 6 max play.
Right now we can filter the opponents HUD stats for:
1) "Opponents Stats Total"
2) "Opponents Stats this Table Only".
I would love to see two more filters added.
3) "Opponent Stats this Stake Level Only"
4) "Opponents Stats this Table Size Only"
Or essentially, just a filter for "Total Opponents Stats on this Type of Table Only" (i.e. this game, this table size, this stake level).
So that, if I'm sitting at a .25/.50 6-max table, and I check "Opponents Stats Total", and Opponents Stats this Stake Level Only" and "Opponent Stats this Table Size Only", the opponents stats would include: Only (but all of them) hands at .25./.50, 6-max tables.

Inappropriate?The HUD automatically filters by table size. It never includes games from 6 max tables when you are playing on a 9-max table, for example. I could add auto stake level filtering too. Rather than make it an option I'd like to make it on for everybody or off for everybody.

I've played 99% 10-seat at Stars, and about 1% donkeying around a little at Tilt, 9-seat. But I just decided to go to 6-max for awhile and was realizing how crucial it would be with so many opponent hands at fullring. As for stake level, others might want to comment on that.
The thing I'm finding, is that a decent number of the regular players I see are playing a couple of levels like me. Or, someone I played a lot of hands with at a lower level, shows up at the next level a few months later. My gut reaction has been that I'd rather have the HUD stats just start fresh with a player like that at the current stake level. I'd be much more confident in the stats for that player at that new level.
It's also a round-about way to keep someone's stats relatively current. In that, I know how long I've been playing this level, so I know the hands included are at least that fresh.
So, my strong inclination would be to filter by stake level too. It makes sense to me. But in terms of that being an "all on" or "all off" filter, there might be others who want the stats for an opponent from all levels at times.

Inappropriate?I think this is really important for both villain stats and hero stats. The way I play a .02/.04 limit table and the way I play a .01/.02 no-limit table are obviously going to be very different. I would like my HUD and my opponents HUDs to only be showing statistics from the stakes we're playing at right now.1 Comment

A few more thoughts:
Ideally I think this would be best as a selectable option. Perhaps in place of the current checkboxes, a pair of radio buttons (one for you, one for opponents) with the options of: All Hands, Only Hands at Same Stakes, Only Hands From Current Session. I would think tournaments should be based on the buy-in rather than the current blind level. Also, I would expect play money and real money stats to be segregated.
